Your skin is the largest organ of your body.
It covers and protects your entire body.
It allows you the luxury of the sense of touch.
Plus when you take care of your skin, you not only look great, you feel great too.
And that's why you need skin care.
Start With Cleansing Dead cells, sebum, make-up and dirt block the pores of your skin, causing you skin problems like acne, dark spots, etc.
Hence, cleansing your face with a gentle face wash can remove such impurities without aggravating any skin issues you might already have.
Next Step - Moisturize When you use a face wash, you expose new skin cells by peeling away dead cells.
If you don't moisturize, these new cells can lose the natural balance of moisture and hydration, leading to dryness, even dullness.
Hence, you need to apply a good moisturizer (specifically for your skin type) to restore balance to your skin.
Final Step - Protect Exposure to sun can cause immediate tanning or pigmentation, or cause long lasting effects list dark spots, and sometimes even cancer.
So use a sun protection of SPF 30+ over your moisturizer (face and body) to protect yourself from the harmful effects of the UVA and UVB rays of sunlight.
Talk to a professional to understand what your particular skin care routine should be, especially if you have skin issues like open pores, blackheads, localized shine, redness, grainy skin texture, etc.
A Note About Men Skin Care A man's skin is up to 20% thicker than a woman's due to the presence of testosterone.
Plus regular shaving irritates skin on a daily basis resulting in a much stronger skin barrier.
My point is, if you're male, don't use products designed for females because skin won't even feel those products, hence resulting in a more oily look for yourself.
Follow the same basic skin care routine (mentioned above) but go for skin care products specifically designed for men plus for your skin type.
